Struggling to start when cold ' engine management light on'

I have recently undergone a forged td05 build . car is still running standard injectors & ecu untill i have money to obv buy a ecu & have it properly mapped & set up .

when i was running the car pritty much standard i had a japspeed de-cat & it had 2 sensors on it one of which was a lambda sensor . now i have a zisco mani & down pipe and the down pipe only has the lambda senor on it leaving the other sensor unused .

this is what i believe is causing the problem of starting it when its cold . it strugles when cold but as soon as its started & its warm it starts up first time no bother & runs fine.

any idea's or help of what the cause of this could be thanx ?

It'll not be the lack of the cat temp sensor mate. Run a diagnositic check and see what codes she throws out. Might give you an idea of where to look.

Possible temp sender fault but I'd check the codes first.
