As I always say, I can import absolutley anything. Thing is, would you actually want to pay the price for getting such a rare car? ;)

Don't forget the Daihatsu Mira Avanzato TR-XX-R4 :D

Imagine the looks you'd get when people ask "So, what do you drive...?" :haha:

My mate owns the original red press car Mira Avanzato TR-xx R4!

Its comical, there is a button on the transfer box to put it in 4wd or fwd!

I've been looking about on eBay, Pistonheads and Autotrader for Kei cars and they're rarer than rocking horse shit! There is one TR-XX-R4 on Pistonheads for 2k and it's silver.

I really fancy something funky like that.

www.glanza.co.uk> What sort of price would you be looking at to import a Kei car? :p

Errm, all of them? :D

I've done some Google bashing and found this website... http://www.japankcars.com/index.php

They've got a rather nice and funky looking Subaru Vivio RX-R...

...which is priced at ¥950,000 (£5,930.13 at current rates). I know it's a rare Kei car, but do they really command that much money or is that website quite expensive?

They also have a Mazda AZ-1 for ¥1,280,000 (£7,989) and a Suzuki Cara for ¥1,450,000 (£9,050).

Ahem!

Should be near 280bhp / ton with my 993cc and a healthy dollop of torque too.

There are certainly some good sub 1litre engines out there.

We'll there'd be room for improvement if I were less than 175bhp and greater than 700kg (Stock car is 810KG (Kerb weight)). So anywhere between 260 and 280bhp / ton I should imagine.

My Storia should be 180bhp per ton (just needs better air routing), and that's with all its interior and being four-wheel drive!

All from a wee 713cc as well!!!

the storia is cool... the cappu look fine and well until you are standing beside one and then they look like a rollerskate. If I was going for a small rear wheel drive car the smallest I would go is the mx5 and even when sitting in one of them they can feel stuffy with the roof up.

Some of those Kei cars are mad money and none of them look as good as a GT/Glanza imo.

Also when the suzuki cap first hit the streets in Ireland you used to see a fair number of them around but now you dont see many of them at all which would make you wonder how reliable and well built they actually were?
