i read that a starlet 0-60 time is 6.9 standard

Just quoting from the original showroom brochure published by Toyota : 0-60 is 8.2secs. The same figure is used in the later Glanza brochure.

I'm guessing Toyota stated the usual underestimated figure and seeing as info is hard to acquire someone did a little testing. The 6.9 figure has circulated on the net for ages but I can find little trace of it's origin..
