The Sky Insurance thing is taking a while to sort thou I must say, and it appears to need Mackers approval.
Sky Insurance have even posted on here saying they are ready to go, so I can see where Jules is coming from, but can also appreciate all Macker done for us, getting this site up and running and that he is a very busy man, but ultimately it seems he does need to be around to sort some things out.

I'd like to add a little something to this topic. Just for reference :
1. Macker built this city. Do not worship false idols for they are indeed false.
2. It's an unwritten rule amongst the staff that we have our priorities straight. The real world, scary and uninviting as it is, takes precedence over this wonderful cyberspace version.
Everyone can accept that to some degree and I would not expect any of the moderators to ignore matters concerning their work life and private life. The Boss is under the same orders - Life comes first. I am sorry but this is a hardened fact.
I hope that makes sense.
As stated we will be making the relevant enquiries regarding site-branded clothing as soon as possible.

Some interesting points have been raised here and if TGTT is to seriously move forward into a fully established club or even further it's development as it is now, then it needs an admin team that is active on the forum.
I'm not as active here as I'd like to be as a member, it's just a busy time of year for me with work commitments, however I do make time for processing memberships with the MSC as I'm committed to running the club and to it's members.
I set up the sky insurance discount here with Macker's agreement. I could do an awful lot more for TGTT if given the opportunity and authorisation to do so. I would love to help out more here and have contacted Jay about this, who got back to me today, thanks Jay.
The Sky Insurance discount took too long to set up and most companies would just give up and lose interest, however I do thank Jay for sorting it as a forum of this size deserves to have more companies offering strong discounts. If more companies are going to be contacted to secure discounts for us, then it needs sorting and finalising quicker.
Lots of members here I'm sure could put more input into the forum/club, I fully understand that this needs admin's approval first before agreeing to any proposals made by members.
I have contacts for all sorts of mechandise and discounts that TTGT could benefit from, I have ran the MSC for many years now and gained a lot of experience in setting up and running an established car club. I'm offering my services here if they are wanted?
