I don't like the idea queuing to then have a 60 second stint on a circuit, also with this many cars I'm not going to get a decent chance at memorising or improving on the circuit, or learning the cars limits. The car will never begin to get warm either!
Being such a small circuit it is easy to remember, after just 3 laps at the weekend I knew where the turns were, it was just a case of getting the lines right. The car does get warm but the tyres can be a problem, but its the same for everyone. I soon found the limit of the car (with picture evidence) but before that I posted a very quick time for the car
If 40 cars are queuing to go on the track it's going to take at least 40 minutes between each 60 second sprint before you get another run at it.
Don't get me wrong the social aspect will be good as with Llandow, but I dont think the spectacle is going to be as good or exciting.
I think things can get bigger and better than Llandow, not smaller - people here can afford trackdays as they can afford spending thousands on their car.
You will have other things to do during your waiting time, I was topping up my fuel after each run to save weight, it was also a good time to view other cars and see how they are taking the turns compared to me.
I can 110% say it was more fun than Llandow as it was competative where as llandow was just for fun. I was like the "star in the car" on Top Gear waiting for my time to be posted.
People do spend thousands on their cars however that doesnt mean they have the money to spend on an expensive track day, this is a cheap form of competative motorsport that people can enjoy without the risk of hitting other cars.
