nearly missed this!!

i should have bth my GT setup and running by then and also my eunos will be a turbo! no idea which one to bring lol:
if i bring both cars someone dives my other car down) can i used both? :D

This is only 1hr 30min from me so can head off straight back home after...yey!

Hopefully will have the B18C in by this time. After watching that video, I just hope I can keep it in VTEC :D

Nice on Sam, dont know what kinda position we will be in to come as the baby is due Mid July if not mentally and financially broke would like to bring the VR4 but shall let you know :)

I think the idea of the sprint day is wearing off a little for me... I can't see how it will work with a large group.

I know the sprint track will be cheaper and affordable to the wider audience, but I think I would prefer a race track by far. I would be happy to pay quite a bit more money than Llandow for a track destination, probably 100% more.

I don't like the idea queuing to then have a 60 second stint on a circuit, also with this many cars I'm not going to get a decent chance at memorising or improving on the circuit, or learning the cars limits. The car will never begin to get warm either!

If 40 cars are queuing to go on the track it's going to take at least 40 minutes between each 60 second sprint before you get another run at it.

Don't get me wrong the social aspect will be good as with Llandow, but I dont think the spectacle is going to be as good or exciting.

In saying that I will probably still come. Just a little undecided. I don't want to spoil the atmosphere just venting my opinions Sam.

I think things can get bigger and better than Llandow, not smaller - people here can afford trackdays as they can afford spending thousands on their car.

I would do a trackday.

I did not think of much of Llandow from the videos compared to tracks like Donnington which I have been on before and because of the distance I decided against going.

I think a time attack session would be great but on a race track. Saying that though, I think we would need proper timing equipment etc and not sure if that is going to be possible?

i tought exactly that mate but when your n that track you really appriciate it more than it seems, i honestly though it look boring but when you out driving it, its a lot more descieving than in the videos. maybe more so for me as i had a lesser power car.

i would love a tgtt trackday at castle combe maybe something could be organisd with another forum? im sure alot of people on the mx5nutz foru would be up for it, there allways doing track days lol.

Luke i can see ya point about the sprint track and maybe this would be better for a small group.

also tyres wont be warmed up before starting the sprint which is a dissadvantage.

im still up for going though lol

Lets see what happens. I'd still go, even to spectage as it is not very far from me.

There won't be 40 cars attending, I doubt even the 35 odd will.

I'd be more than willing to do a bigger and better track but it requires a lot of commitment from members. In the last few weeks before the Llandow day I had so many people giving me grief!

I personally think thats the wrong attitude to have.

Yeah its smaller than Donnington, and it is far away (not for you it wasnt) but i can assure you that if you ask everyone that was there, if they had fun, then im pretty damn sure they did.
The whole day was a laugh.

Llandow is a great litle circuit, it seems you think you are a better driver than what you are, and not going proved this.

Would you do Knockhill if Sam organised it, or is it to far and to small of a circuit, compared to Donnington?

As my statement above, not everyone on that list will turn up, me included, due to wedddings and holidays in August, so my weekend time will be minimal.

As for people that say its to far, get a grip, its still in the Uk, its just a case of being lazy.

If the above sounds harsh then so be it.
Im tired of people saying its to far etc, get a life, grow some balls and grab the bull by the horns, and use the time on this planet to you full.
