Hi folks, im organising a stand to display the Jap-imports4u finery at this years "Ultimate Car Show - Larne"
check out their website HERE
its always a good show, and raises lots of cash for local charity, so I figured this year we should get a stand and join in the fun!
"The Ultimate Car Show was initially started with the aim of giving a helping hand to charity organisations from around the Larne area. We started this out of our mutual interest in all forms of motoring and motorsports. We decided that what Larne was missing was an arena for the people of Larne and the surrounding area to show off their pride and joy in the company of as many like minded individuals as possible. The first year the show ran was extremely successful, even more so than we had planned for, and raised over £3000 for the Roddensvale school. Last year we decided to bring the show back and this time the proceeds would go to both the St Johns Ambulance and the Larne Adult Centre. This time just over £4700 was raised with almost 350 cars eventually passing throuh the gates along with an untold number of awed spectators. "
What Happens Next
"We've just received permission to hold the show again this year. We will be running it on Sunday 29th March at the caravan park and the entry fee's will be the same as last year. Just like the last few years, music and entertainment will be provided on the day. Alan is again bringing his burger and doughnut vans. The charities to benefit this year will again be from the Larne area. After a lot of thought we have chosen the Larne Adult Centre and the Oxygen Therapy Centre as this years beneficiaries."
Its a charity event, so there is a small charge of about £8 per car on our stand, but remember - all proceeds go to good causes.
I would predict that JI4U will hog a few of our spaces ie:
1)Alan - Tigger widearch Mx5
2)Richard - Greddy demo Mx5
3)Eleesa - RS aisawa Throttlebody mx5
4)Magical Trevor - Magic Carpet
I have asked for TEN spaces to be allocated.
I realise that not everyone would be willing to travel to east antrim, but if you are, get your name down below.
The spaces are PROVISIONAL at the moment, but as soon as I have confirmation, ill let you know!
please list your name if you wish to attend, and PLEASE DONT LET ME DOWN! there is nearly 8 weeks notice, and id be awfully disappointed if people pull out please dont make Al cry, its a terrible sight and causes Leanne mucho distress!
