im 19, got my nvq lv 1,2 and 3 last october, im a vehicle tech for a peugeot dealership, the wage is shit, the place is shit, the people i work with are shit, i just get most of the shit stuff to do really. in between jobs i rebuild ol shit turbos and make stupid side exit exhausts and screamer pipes for fun

mechanic/technician - the shittest paid trade ever which also probably one of the trades where you habe to do a bit of everything but its good when it comes to fixing your own car for much cheapness

I work for the Emergency response Unit for London underground, basically dealing with things like the London bombings, Derailments, Suicides, Broken down trains.
We also specialise in emergency rail repairs and anything which stops trains running from day to day.

Work at UK Athletics in the Procurement department.. basically managing suppliers, raising purchase orders, making sure quality controls are there when we order things from external companies and also thrown in to make the days interesting, fleet manage the company fleet, mobile telephone manage, and facilities manage..

I'm 28 and I run my own business, I'm a software test analyst. Get to choose where I work and for how many months of the year, wage ranges on location, I've worked all over the UK and Europe. Currently in Harrogate working for a small software development house called Erudine.
I've worked for EDS, BT, NHS, GCPD (MI5), Council, Barclays and many many more.
I used to work for EDS as a permi, got £18,000 a year for 3 years with no payrise, bonus or training. Went contracting (operating under my company name "Si Logistics") and wages have ranged from £200 a day when I started out, to £50 an hour and now that I'm SC Cleared wages have came to £1,300 a day for short contracts in London.
