mike thats really made me wanna do that lol....how is your plate stuck on?and whats the size?and what did you cut it out with?cheers

*edit* aha!! i have an idea!!what if i cut out the bars like yours mike!but keep a little bit of the plate holder so i can still use my plate in the middle?sound anygood?

as above each to there own, ive cut mine out and i love it. got a doobie splitter to go on now too so im looking forward to seeing how it looks.

I didn't do it, the previous owner did. The bumpers are plastic anyway, so they're piss easy to trim and cut, just don't make any mistakes! A Dremel is probably the most accurate way of doing it.

The plate is a standard size bike rear number plate, obviously in white with ever-so-slightly-smaller than legal lettering. In short, the plate is illegal, but because the Starlet is a small car, I've had no hassle about it (*touches wood*). The plate is stuck on with Halford number plate adhesive pads, the thick ones.

If you do that, why even bother cutting the bumper? ;)

I agree with Mike, cut the centre but I think you should use black mesh on it, it'll look neat. Pop down to mine I promise I'll do a good job!! :p

I have cut mine, but i managed to find a Mk1 bumper i thought it looked slightly better, that is just my opinion though :)

That's exactly what I'm after Dane!!!

mine is cut at the moment, DIY job! With black mesh! Only real problem was bending the mesh to sit flush in the bumper, also black sealant everywhere on me clothes
