Toy tuning airfilter relocation kit fitted, problem...

Right before I fitted the airfilter relocation kit i was boosting at a steady 12 psi.

Now after fitting the kit its holding at 10 psi, also turbo whislte has got VERY loud and the compressor stall is less pronounced and more of a traditional dump sound.

So I assumed I had a leak, but the only boost pipe I took off was the hot side of the top mount intercooler. And there is deffo not a leak there so Im a little confused.

Also the car definately pulls harder so if there is a leak it isnt that bad surly?

any help will be appreciated.

If it pulls harder, it'll be good.

Check over what you've done, but to me, it sounds like a good move you've made, dude!

You are hearing the turbo spool because there isn't a metre of piping muffling the sound.

The CT9 reacts to changes in the intake/exhaust sides so spooling and boost characteristics will change slightly.
