Bicrod has advised that he is unable to reply on this thread for technical reasons I believe, so I told him I would update the thread with his PM that was just sent to me:

It's is not slating I have only advised on what has happened. It is a public forum and you are free to add your own opinion's and events of what you believed happened. I'm sure you would post feedback too.
If £100 is your final offer, then hell yes I'll take it. Rather be £200 down that £300.
This experience has not been a good one for me and Im sure not for you too. I am nice, honest guy who is refunding a lad £200 who bought it off me and now im having to pay for shipping back and try sell the piping or something.
I wish things could of worked out better mate, I dont need this and Im sure you dont.
How would you like to refund me?

Good to see some sort of resolution in process here.
My thoughts are, (FWIW)
You obviously accept that you should have checked the item on delivery. (lesson for everyone there)
Bicrod, by offering £100 refund, is obviously acknowledging that the item was not 100% prior to the sale.
50 -50 Responsibility for events.
It seems to me, that if Bicrod was to increase his refund to £150, at least you both then equally share the costs of a lesson learned and can move on.

When i sold gee this cooler it was in good faith and full working order and with all pipe work. Gee has had the cooler stored in a loft garage for over 9wks and sold it one again. Now if he had said to me at the beginning that it was faulty i would not have had a problem refunding the money but to wait 9wks to which anything could have happerened in unfair to come bake and want a refund and im sure most people would feel the same. People saying that they will be all over me like a rash is that ment to be threating ??? stupid comments like that would just make me stick my heels in and not offer anything. I have offered gee a £100 but not because i have sold a faulty item but because im decent bloke. People should wait until id had replied before making comments gee had seen all the photos of the damaged cooler and the pipe work fitted to the car and he still went through with the sell to sell it on with out looking at it is his own fault. But my name is now tarnised but im not a bad person and i dont rip people off

People Threatening Physical abuse against people is not tolerated on this site and will warrant a warning, Usually any person is welcome at a club meet and any physical action against that person at Said meet would result in the person taking the action to be Banned from future activities involving the Site/Club and possibly the Site/Club it's self as it would reflect badly on the Site/Club.
I Do understand people are Frustrated and angry but please people be Civil and try to work it out like adults not 14 year old school kids
