trd lsd sound

I have a 2way trd lsd installed on my ep91, is it normal that it makes cracking noises when the car is going slow and turning? can it be cuz of not the right oil?

any help is welcome...

Hi mate jus seen ur post ive got the same diff yes its normaly mine does it all the time. So nothing to worry about, just make sure your using the corect gearbox oil. :)

Ya 2 way diffs are the job just be careful at high speed they can be contrary. the noise is normal they will pop and bang all day long!!

Oh and itll help the handling on corners as the inside wheel will spin less and therefore creating more traction/grip

If the springs in the (2 plates) either one of them is broken/really weak so it cant hold on to both left and right drive shafts.
Also make sure its got the rite oil in the gearbox (Red line mt90 transmission oil 75w-90)
