Thought I best register and say hello, and clear my car of being accused.
Just HPIed the car myself and the car was orignally on R962 OWT, so the first plate that was on it when prev owner bought it was wrong.
This car was only registered in August 07, so the red one must have had that plate before, or there has been some mix up at DVLA.
Because I've only just bought it, HPI check comes back as prev owner as the current owner. But I have got the V5 in my name.
