well i dont use txt speak but sometimes do use abbreviations like imo,idk etc etc but when im using my phone i mainly use t9 when txting so i hardly txt talk lol

If Im right, i think you'll find that 'imo' is not an abbreviation, just three letters cut down so much that it represent 'In my opinion', which is basically text speak; The cutting down of words. An example of an abbreviation would be 'etc.' 'e.g', so therefore it is evident to say you do use text speak.

It is also known that you should always try and avoid using such talk.

Personally, as an educated human being, I won't lower myself to use text lingo (even on a mobile), and give up on PM's, emails and threads where it's used. My own opinion, is that if you can't read, write or spell English properly, then you're not worth my time!

And who in this forum never put a text written word ? Im sure if we start to search you will find text writing by everyone but i dont have any problem reading the text writing cant see how some of you find it difficult to read and you are english !!!!!

I didn't mean the occasional txt spk word, I meant full sentances that you have to be a master code breaker to decipher. I'm sure we all (including myself) use it a little but excessive use is just fucking annoying.

Now that I agree with! I think its sometimes a neccesary evil...like when your in a rush, like txting too say your gonna be late or something like that. But overuse (entire sentances) on forums...why?!!
