Enjoyed myself today, was good to get talking to you guys again.

My clutch decided to shit itself on the rollers so no new power figure for me, so will have to get my new clutch and diff in er asap, it's all sitting here and all which isn't so bad.

My brother was well pleased with his figure of 258@fly with 290ftlbs.

Will be interested to see some graphs and videos hopefully :)

Just in, ready to run out the door again but thought I'd quickly thank EVERYONE who turned up today and made it such a bloody excellent collection of EP's.

Apologies to anyone I didn't manage to say hello to. There were a lot of people!

Alan will no doubt post the award winners up but needless to say I won the Dirt Trial styling award by a landslide.. Points for trying to compete go to Chris and Aidan..:haha:

Ten beer time. Will edit, host and post pics tomorroz

Thanks,

Jay

Well folks... Where do I begin!
ill take the time tomorrow to do a proper results page in the past events thread.
Tonight its just kicking back with my glamourous assistant who's sat beside me with her feet in the spa thing earning a well deserved rest lol!!!

Thanks to Leanne for cutting my workload, She looked after holding the money and running the DV cam flawlessly! thankyou! not only that but put up with me stressing and running about getting the wee prizes, and getting the frame for the photo. +1 to leanne!

Thankyou to Wee John and Moffet, wee john for warming my car up ;) and also for bringing my tyres home when he could have been home himself!
Not only that, but he sacrificed being able to join in the convoy, in order to guide aiden into Belfast and up to Ballymena boy hey.
Thanks to sir Moffet for carrying the Black Racing rims to Ballymena for Aiden - your a star!

I have to say, Id love to know what it would have been like, to be stood there in Trevors shoes.

So So many of the cars there, began life in this country, as a result of his steadfast determination to bring quality ep's onto our shores, and as a result, nearly all his buyers have become utter EP enthusiasts. Not just people who bought used cars. Thanks for keepin the EP dream alive for many besotted owners, much like myself!

Thanks to the Guys at Autotune, who fitted us in when we had to change plans at short notice, and fought off blinding hangovers to give us 110% service and satisfaction.
These guys went beyond the call of duty for me, and even had tyres took off rims FOC.
They even offered to email us our charts in pdf format to post online!

Thanks to the little greasy spoon round the corner for opening up JUST FOR US. They dished out some awesome slices of cholesterol and complex carbs all day to us lol!!!

Thanks to Jay Trev and Wee John, for offering impartial Judgement for the prizes today, and again thanks to Trevor for most generously providing a panhard rod for the best ct9 setup! what a prize!!!

but most importantly, and probably most cheese-ily. Thanks to EVERYONE who came, whether you rolled or not, I thank you from my heart for showing your support for our site, and our days out.
Dont forget, if it wasnt for you all going... there would be no meets!
Thanks for the great memories folks...

Kind Regards
Al

side notes...
moffet, those wheels, the colour...where are some pics>?!

aiden its was baltic fullstop end of arguement, the most popular attraction of the day was the space heater! weejohn was considering putting his gloves on his feet at one stage!

nanglebanger(sp) lovely motor even though its not turbo'd

and thanks to chris for keeping a close check on everyones fuelling, everyone appreciated this especially when it was their car on the rollers! you kept everyones motor safe but your own? do i here.. whoops 20psi? lol

so... quick question who drives the yaris? very clean car, but overtaking jay? thats a big no no lol

It was agood day all round, I wont make a comment about how cold it was, that seems to be normal for us. Except for AI, which wasnt exactly tropical either.
Every meet we have seems to be located in the coldest wind tunnel this far south of Iceland, fu@king baltic.

Seen and talked to a few new faces to me, not to everyone but, some very nice cars there with mods I would like to see on mine, but I am not going there!!

The lads at Autotune were 100%, perfect for a group like us. They seemed to be 3 lads just into screwing more power out of whatever they have, even their Transit has not escaped! Probably just as mad as the best of our collection, and their road seemed to be accurate as well.

It was mentioned at the end of the day briefly, anyone fancy Karting again over Xmas????

but overtaking jay? thats a big no no lol

You forget that the autobox makes up it's own mind - I'm just a passenger..;)

Pics editing just finished, didn't get a pic of everyone's car unfortunately but I'll start hosting them now.

Good point Johnboy, karting over xmas anyone?

Definatly was a good day, though I must admit I had a busting headache from the fumes I think.

Good news is my diff and paddle clutch are being fitted next week for wot I think isn't a bad fee, so tempted to bring mine back down there and get the reading I shoulda got.
