unit under drivers seat??

hi there, i have an ep82 starlet on a K-reg. i am currently guttin the whole of the interior so i can hoon it around the track

under the drivers seat is a unit with several plugs on, one of which connects to the bottom of the seat.

can anyone tell me what this unit is for please? is it just for the seat belt warning light on the dash or does it have other purposes?

Just the seatbelt warning lamp usually unless you have an optional Toyota amp for the stereo. In either case you can rip it out for weight reduction dude.
