yes, as the extra air will blow out the weak standard spark, and you will need cooler plugs as there will be more heat in the engine which could cause the plug to melt.

Adam you would be best with NGK grade 8 and Magnecore 8.5mm leads without a doubt.. Will do you a discount on your large order if needed or can provide part numbers.

may just try the part numbers first toby as my old man is in the trade so he should hopefully be able to get them extra cheap, but if not i guess ill be contacting you on leads and plugs too lol

Apparently the cheaper non shielded copper core plugs give a stronger spark.
For example BPR7ES instead of BPR7EKN.
