urgent help needed, changing pcv valve

how do i remove the pcv valve, need to change it before it gets dark, ive broken the old one..does it just pull out??

Just pulls out mate, you might need some needle-nose pliers if the broken bits are stuck in the hole.

Yeah if you havnt got a new grommit go easy as the old grommit can go a bit brittle

hi, i just checked mine and if was covered in crap on it and around it, is this normal, or is it worth just replacing it?

shake it and if you hear a ticki-tick while shaking, it isn't stuck. its still good. its normal its loose in the pcv. its made of a spring and a smallish ball bearing in it.
