weird high idle

When the AC is removed there is a plug that gets disconnected behind the passenger headlight, its a grey plug, it has 2 pins on it. Get a paperclip, bend it and cut it and just bridge the 2 terminals together, this will stop the fan running all the time.

intake mani wont cause high idle... its one of many things..

vac leak
TPS
ICV
sticky BOV
break in vac source from to EX/WG to inlet mani
throttle body
WG stuck open

ok thanks i'll check all of these things today
the BOV and waste gate can i just strip and clean them??

Also check your PCV one way valve and it's piping. These tend to go brittle and crack very easily which can cause high idle issues.

hey guys i checked everything and still she idles high..., i think i'm going to use another ECU maybe that's it..., cause the gt wiring loom came with a a/t gearbox but the ep85 has a manual gearbox..., maybe that's the problem.
