the problem was the studs. they werent metric. i think he swapped the studs. he also fixed the 3rd bolt sitting on the runner problem. hes constantly revising which is good.

Hey man I am on the second group buy and I know everyone wants theirs delivered asap (me too) but I would rather you take a little extra time and make sure quality is paramount, not speed!
Although everyone gets impatient I am sure you all agree that it would be more hassle to get it quick and have to remove it because it was rushed and has cracked. personally I would happily wait a bit longer for one that has been made with quality first and foremost in Sacha's mind, not speed due to a bunch of demanding GTT owners from across the world!
Not that I am questioning Sacha's workmanship you understand!

also a question, may have been covered i didnt check, is a big thread lol, if i wanted to heat wrap it, would it be ok over the paint? because obviously the paint doesnt last long and i wouldnt want loads of shit chipped paint sitting under the heatwrap???

Still not got mine yet but I definately do not want to use my old nuts and washers when it was said that new ones would be provided, we have waited a good while for these and not to get new nuts etc.. in my opinion isn't great. Could you please tell us why new nuts are mot being provided ?

i've answered this Q a few times over this course of this thread. at first the studs on the manifold we were using did not have the stock thread pattern..so we were providing the nuts with the manifolds. the new batches DO NOT need new nuts because the thread pattern on the studs are same as stock..so you have you re-use the stock nuts. so when you guys get your your manifolds..just use your existing stock nuts. i hope this clears any confusion!
