:haha: yes.. i am!

As far as i am aware, and i havent heard it changed in the last few months.Elephant etc, do not insure V's.

As i tried to insure mine, even though the website gave me a quuote when i went to buy it they rang me and said they do not insure them, its a catagorical no...

And that includes people who get a "letter" from them saying its a V etc.

So unless something changed, then no you are not correctly insured.. in which case i might see what they quote me.

I went for an online one and it was just coming up with GT turbo when i selected Glanza

I agree with you here buddy. I have a V with Admiral and the only reason they are covering my insurance is because they cocked up their end after i paid them £1400 for a year then had an accident in the ice.

So to reiterate ADMIRAL DONT COVER GLANZA's!!!
they tried to say my car wasnt covered when i had my accident until they looked at notes on my insurance file and listened to the recorded call of me calling it a glanza v about 6 times (the advisor said yes we do insure them under a gt).

Be very careful and double check your documents.

my fairly modded hybrid GT is about £350, limited mileage though and also kept in a garage.

the runabout GT is unlimited mileage and just kept in a residential parking area, thats £300. the ep85 is the same, but limited mileage again, thats £340 due to having 0 no claims on it.

Mate as said above in other post, Admiral Do not cover Glanza's. Believe me, im only covered on my glanza claim because of a technicality, and a fault their end.

Wanna keep you legal bud, Admiral dont/cant cover Glanza's Whatsoever!

to be honest, regardless whether they say they do or do not cover them, they do provide a quotation for that vehicle through the website, so if in any claim situation they say they do not cover glanza v imports, it would be their own responsibility as they have mis sold to the customer, by allowing a false quote to be processed, because if they do not cover them they should not be allowing that vehicle to be on their website quote system. If they said they did not want to cover you and they cannot, you could techniqually purse them to court for mis selling.

although personally i wouldnt risk it to save a few hundred pounds, go with a reputable insurance company who deal with these import cars, and that also understand modifications as i know for a fact admiral wont take kindly to car modifications....

sky insurance and flux being two good companies...
