personally id sooner burn the money than hand it over to them !!!!! our money our contry sounds harsh but thats were it should damn well stay in my eyes. am damn sure that money could have kept a few more post offices open or gave vital research facility to our much inneed charitys accross the uk !!!!!!! our whole system stinks.

well when u have family fighting in iraq and afgahn using shit equipment you'll prob change your mind
the nhs already get enough, the problem is that it doesnt get spent wisely, there are way to many over paid people in the nhs, (aswell as underpaid), there is also to much redtape, and to many managers, etc etc etc
everyone who sells to the nhs rip the nhs off, i used to work for a company selling iv pumps, now iy used to cost us between 250 and 500 depending type of machine, we sold them at between 3+4 times that price, mainly cos the nhs wouldnt argue about the price they would just stump up the cash and have less pumps than they originally intended.
thats why i think they already get enough

This is exactly what I was gonna say in my petrol thread,our government are very good at giving our money to people from other countries wether they live in the uk or not,and before anyone starts no im not racist in any way.
Mr brown should be looking after the people of his own country before worrying about anyone else,and again that is not meant in a racist way
I think Trevor made a very valid point about elderly people dying this year again because of not having enough money to heat there homes

yea couldnt believe this, well yes i could but how can he give one penny abroad when we are going into recession - u look after your own first and foremost - let some other country sort them out, or sort themselves out.
When fuel prices are what they are and ppl are skrimping every penny then earn how can that prick just throw money at other countries?!
On the same note why has nothing happened bout Mugabe?!
Its fantastic that a PM who we didnt even vote in has had such a shocking effect and in such a short time - roll on the euro!
