Twin charge, Small turbo to take away the lag and big turbo to chase Porsches etc.

There is a butterfly between the two turbos and the butterfly is connected to a spring tensioned vacuum pump :)

Lol well I was just thinking like, there's much better technology out there now than td/vf series turbos. What about a gt28? Or a T3 footprint? I know it's new a new mani and downpipe jobby, that's why I asked how much you got :p

Lol td04 don't cut it these days :p
the vf48 might be too laggy for a 4e, maybe a vf35? Think that's got the smaller turbine housing.

A good 325+ bhp and with some water/meth kit,i would say probably around 350.

It depends on the quality of the fuel as well.

td05 on a 4e is just pants, too laggy. great on a 5e tho. vf35 is mighty and full boost way before a td05. can take boost too. there was a later version that was similar and is easyish to get-search on vf43

IHI VF43
(300-325whp, Bolt-On)
This is the standard equipment turbocharger used on the MY07 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. It can be found on both base STI's and STI Limited's. The VF43 utilizes a thrust bearing design and the P18 exhaust housing. The primary difference between the VF43 and the VF39 used previously on STI's seems to be the stiffness of the wastegate. The VF43 has a stiffer wastegate designed to reduce boost creep issues.
Expect to achieve full boost with the proper mods and a quality tune between 2700-3200rpms

that full boost estimate is identical to the vf35 estimate yet vf43 makes 20-25 hp more on a scooby

Ideal for a drag car, fast road it's probably pointless, could work on track but that would depend on what track it would be.

It's a lot of money, when you can just try and find a 18g or 20g td05 which would be much cheaper. I think Kon runs the 20g ;)
If your going to spend that much on a turbo a gt30 can be brought for that price.
