it takes time everybody feeling it in the pocket know ,pain in the arse ??no funds.cant get any worse then it is now with the econmy

A member on here was selling his for £4.5k and got that but it never went through cause the buyer was refused a loan or something. It shows you that a 96spec glanza can still get a good return if it is slightly modded to a certain standard.

Your missing the point, its not just this thread in general mate. Starlet owners control the resale value, there is no 'set' price to sell these cars for. We dictate what their value is effectively.
If we start selling them for less, the market value becomes less i.e people expect to buy a good car for 3k which last year would of cost 5k...Which it is doing going on peoples price estimates in this thread.
They are still worth the same value being exported out of Japan, if anything they should be more expensive in the UK+ire due to the Yen exchange rate.

Anyway, i'm not trying to argue just trying to explain my point.

imho, i wouldnt sell it! I was saving for an evo before i got the gt but everyone around here wants one, they think its a penis extention! :slap: And i was also too into my hot hatches and after having a shot of a few of my mates evo`s im glad i bought a starlet. I find the gt much more fun blasting around in while my mates with evos are being crippled with insurance and running costs, and unfortunately i doubt it would take me long to loose my liscense with an evo, way too easy to go fast in!
At the end of the day i suppose its just whatever you want!
