whats this noise!

like people have said could be worn pads..they grind does it do it all the time? also wheel bearing...and if you think its the sus making the noise check your topmounts are tight ;)

id say it sounds very much like your intercooler pipes scraping on the floor when you go over bumps

i doubt its any of the above as you yourself would no if it was your brakes etc ...

and youve just fitted a fmic recently i take it its only done it since then ?

But he has said the car is not lowered so i would have thought the chances of that are slim

Cheers mate, and nah does really make the noise all the time, sometimes it just does it on a straight road somtimes if its a bit bumpy it does it a bit or if im going round a corner kinda thing!

Nah the fmic pipes are high off the ground so i doubt its them although i spose though could be rubbing on body work or somthing, not sure how long its done it for just been more noticable! recently! Cheers.

ah okay was just a suggestion mate

try rubbing your hands under the pipes tho under the bumper just to feel for any scrapes

can tick that off the list then

Was going to say when i got my car it made a horrible scrapping noise i did not have a clue what it was untill i looked at the brake pads and realised there was a clip missing.

Very unlikely it was just fall off but worth a try i suppose

cheers mate guess thats somthing to consider.... oh btw does anyone know to to get normal wheel nuts off what has rounded.... Shitfit out em on with a compressor gun an now the screwed! =[

hammer the next size down socket onto them

Does that work? I'll give it a try this weekend! cheers buddy! the idiots at qfit also put two spacers on one wheel so it was going left right left right all the way home lol, an someone followed me home and told me =]
