Whats this on the map sensor?

What is this between the hose on the map sensor? can it run without?

i think its a filter or non return valve and yea i can imagin it would altho im sure it was put there for a reason

no it needs it.

its just a little filter to avoid any oil getting into the map sensor.. its not a 1 way valve.. its a 2 way valve... & if it ever gets clogged u can remove it.. its only job is to prevent any oil from reaching into the sensor.

yeah its 2 way valve
before i treid to change it as i thought its one way valve
after i brought new one, i knew that is just filter

its just an in line filter,stops oily vaucum getting to the map sensor,mine ran perfect without it
