tipping along at 60/70mph with stock ecu at .8, mine was a guzzler
what gear were you in the be at 0.8bar at those speeds constantly. change gear man!!!!!!
and there is nothing wrong with the stock ecu fuelling under fuel cut. its a bit rich i admit, but wouldnt be that horrendous.
i dont really see what you mean about the max boost your running and then off boost fuel consumption????
the same car with the same ecu could have a max boost of 1 bar or 10 bar and the off boost fuel consumption will not alter. i dont see how you can say that just upping the boost on the stock ecu makes your off boost fuel consumption higher? its simply not possible.
It's all down to how hard you boot it
It's all down to how hard you boot it -)))) Long motroway run always gives me over 300 miles per tank - that's before the light will start flashing.

THanks for info guys. IS it just a matter of picking up an uprated ecu from on here 2nd hand? how much cheapest have you guys seen them go for?
I got 185 miles out of that full tank i put in @ £50. Never booted over 5k revs and mostly around town steady driving, bit of motorway the other day (over 70mph) etc.. etc.. Im hoping an uprated ecu will sort my problems along with a wideband to keep an eye on. But again, thats money i dont have at the mo lol.
