The CV joint is in some shape, the bit in the hub is sorta unwound like an orange peel.
Replacing both on Monday for brand spankers, just incase the other one is weakend also.
I was never so relieved to see a mangeled CV, thought I had done in the box again.

Was down at ECC today after work playing with the car, got some very promising results out of her. doesn't be long using up fuel now!
Plenty of videos but not sure of the legality of them

It's running well, they managed to improve the clutch some, hopefully theres a bit more can be done to it, on one of my runs I put the clutch in and it didn't disengage it at all, could still accelerate with the clutch right down!
Bob has the videos it'll be tomorrow before I see em. Bringing her home tomorrow, need the nitrous filled and she's good to go.
0-60mph with gear problems was 5.4 secs
road tyres and 30psi in them so not bad.

Hopefully! It certainly sounds impressive, still not got any slicks though, so I'll be running road tyres, thats the only problem.
