to be honest though mate i personally would never floor my car when its cold, always take it to no more the 4K and thats if i have to...
I always drive for at least a 5 minute warm up before i even think about taking it high even once.....
I have tryed it on a couple of occasions when wasnt completely warm, as i was
to what the hell was going on..... Still pretty quick even when vtec doesnt kick in....

No it aint ,then its just a 1.6 dohc in fairness,unless you have mods,which would make fuck all difference.
I mean on a cold morning,just takes forever to warm up

yeah on a cold mornin can take a while, as said though doesnt bother me, im used to warming cars up.....
And to me my car is still pretty fast through to 9K without vtec.... Feels about as quick as say a VTS/106GTI etc etc.... Not bad really....

Your car being quicker off vtec than a warm vts/gti is optimistic,as in hopeful

Hopeful lol, i really dont hope as i said, i dont rag my car from cold soo no hoping here!
I could be slightly off, but i can bet my bottom dollar its not far off by no means.... Ive driven 106 GTI's/VTS's etc, mates have had them... so i think ive got a pretty good judgement.... Either way, its no important, i just said it still pretty pokey without it so not terrible if you were the guy who rags cars from cold :haha:

seing this video can someone explain how when the car is not warmed up properly the v tec dont kick in?
cos it is thesame statment as saying when turbo engine is not warmed properly the turbo wouldn't spool up !
