Ive been wanting a new car for months now, exactly the same with about £8-10k to spend. Just so unsure what to get which is holding me back.

DC5 integ and Clio V6 are the main ones at the moment.

I am not interested in a “Big Spec” one if I get one it will stay as it comes I should think there are too far and few between to spoil.

Thats down to choice i guess just never owning anything slower than what we own now thats just our method of thinking.
There is a slight similarity with the looks and I think that’s only if you don’t know what you’re looking at.

Oh well i must not know what im looking at eh?!

Fair choice I would never own anything slower than what I have now either. Forget your would have been talking about Ben’s GT over your own.

I have only been lucky enough to go out in 2 GTRs and they both kill my GT but then I am only running 174bhp so that’s not to hard lol there lunching power is amazing very close to the Pulsar I a found

Well yes, i would have as the k24 GT is our fun car! The green auto is the one that gets to the shops and back. We couldnt have either GT without the help of the other GT.

Not too sure, possible a highly tuned Single turbo MkiV Supra, A friend has one pushing 1000bhp :)

Wow that is a lot of horses to be putting down!!! What’s the torque like on that thing bet that hurts when he lunches it!!

Personally I went for an Evo 5 and I love it....Although I still miss my GT. The longer my GT sits in the garage, the more I'm tempted to keep her LOL!!!

Gee do your research on the S2000's. A friend of mine owned one and said it was very skitty....Then a while later the back end came out and he spun it down a wall and wrote it off.

Oh its amazing, I went out in it when it was pushing 750hp (on 'safe' boost) and I have never experienced anything like it before, it gave me the drift bug big time!

I have got a couple of pics of how it used to look if I can find them I will post them up. Oh and Banzai have just asked him for a feature too.

i reckon youd regret a s2k Gee, you wouldnt like the lack of straight line speed and lack of forced induction!!
if it were me and i had 10k for one car it would either be:
supra,
DC5
JZX100
s15
or maybe a rb26 r32 gtst :)

and a few more besides.

Erm..so why have you listed DC5?

My method of thinking was I did not want anything slower than my Glanza, but its 275hp in a 8**kg shell! What can I get faster that does not cost the earth to run as a daily driver! Straight line speed is not everything, and for a pure sports car, RWD and f-engine is one of the best setups in a lot of people's eye.

Elaine,

It would be modded, but SLOWLY. I would be saving for a supercharger kit while focusing on interior/exterior in the mean time and just enjoy crusing in a mint looking car with the top down! :p

Rick – they will come back to bit you in the ass if your not careful.

My ex has just sold his for a STI Scooby. He took me for a spin when he first got it great car for drifting but if you want out and out power I found it fell very short. He has a custom titanium exhaust on his though and when put on the RR it came short by nearly 50bhp over standard… Moding an N/A is not easy.

EP82 – would love to see those pics, more to the point would love a ride!!! I have always had a soft spot for supra's but I think there just to much car for me to handle :(

The problem with the s2000's are they have so much power going to the rear wheels and the car is too short wheel based which makes it very difficult to hold if the back end steps out.
