Hello all,
it is time to organize the 2010 TGTT calendar contest !
"the car of the year" will appear in the Calendar
2 photos will be choosen from "project of the month" winners. A dedicated poll will be started
For those who are concerned, please send me your photo following required specs written at the end of this announcement

Then, we have 10 month to fill up with your photos. So we are setting up a Calendar photo contest
this year contest will be divided in 10 theme categories. you are allowed to send one photo and one photo only in the theme of your choice. we will start 10 polls for each themes so all members can choose best photos for each themes. your photo needs to be landscape (not portrait)

- Motion
- Night & Artificial lights
- Group
- Close up Detail
- winter
- summer

rules:
- One Landscape photo and one Landscape photo only per member
- specify your theme and username
- minimum resolution : 2200*1700
- All Members welcome

Deadline: 6th of December

PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL SOFTWARE SETTINGS, as default setting will automaticly downsize your photo. So your photo will be rejected. please untick auto downsizing photo Thanks.

another year passed by and here we are again! hopefully we (gozitans) can make it once again

OOHH ive got some really nice ones to pic from this year

I'll bump this everyday to be sure everyone has a chance to see and enter the contest.
Think about theme you want to be in, you can be sure most crowded theme will be "summer". so if you're a bit clever try to enter more specific theme

can anybody enter or only car of the month/paid members?

Do photo shops count? (not of the vehicle, e.g. adding motion to a picture)

DizzyDragon, all members are welcome to send a pic related to one of this contest themes

no photoshop effect (e.g. adding motion to a still vehicule)
color editing and minor picture enhancement welcome. but we want real pics.

Im from Guatemala but i dont know if i have a chance to participate???

Everyone is in with a shout on this, it doesn't even have to be a Starlet. We've even had a Rav4 grace the calendar before!

Would be great to see as many entries as possible folks so get snapping.

a quick message as few guys sent me low resolution pictures.
make sure you all read rules including required resolution.
if your photo doesn't respect rules and required specs, then it won't be included in our contest.

guys, most of the file received today were not following our rules.
please read rules before sending.
espacialy minimum resolution : 2200*1700
most client email software has tendencies to resize picture for the web if it is high resolution.
make sure yours isn't setup to do so (untick this feature in preference)

ive edited my pic to that resolution size and resent it.

you cannot enlarge a low resolution pic to a higher resolution.
Unfortunatly it doesn't work that way. as it will be printed, you need to send us the original higher resolution photo
