whats the condition of the engine like?

whats the condition of the engine like?

engine is sound apart from a suspected warped block.

It throws an amount of coolant out but never over heated, and will not overheat even if the coolant wasn''t topped back up.

The head was skimmed before the cruise HG went on, and the block was checked and suspected to be less than 2thou out therefore not warranting any work doing on the block. Now wondering if it was out enough to stil cause this prob.

no, it threw some out into the overflow, but then held its level. didnt throw anymore out so never came out of the actual overflow bottle itself. never had any shit in the overflow bottle either

do you mean that the level in the expansion bottle rose or the expansion bottle itself chucked some out the overflow?

the level in the expansion bottle rose but the held its place and never rose any more on the road. the level in the rad was not at the top where it should be tho, but did still have enought to keep the car at fine temps on the road. but as i want to use it on track too i did not trust it to not throw more out under the extreme conditions track puts it under and to keep cool enough
