test drove a couple and they were great little cars, sideways on a roundabout in an auto 1.6 :)

Only thing you might not like is the size of them... I would highly recommend test driving one before deciding to import. The cabin is very small, not for claustrophobic!

Id have one as a weekend car without a second thought.

cheers dude might actully test one out before i actually buy one nw space aint a issue as i aint that big  the only thing putting me off right nw is using it as a daily driver:confused:

my gf is small, it was her that was thinking of buying one so we were out test driving them. In the end she decided it was just too small and went for a celica instead.... they are REALLY small inside. Not like you wouldnt fit in it but just felt a bit odd. Maybe its because its the first 2 seater I have driven an s2000 etc would probably feel the same.

size wise i never really found it that bad. could fit my shopping in the boot (just) and you have a bit of room behind the seats and on the little shelfy bit too.

just wasnt practical for moving larger things about like wheels and gearboxes. that is pretty much the only reason i sold it

same here, was looking into buying my mates old car on nutz, but it sold, im offshore, and my mum wouldnt go collect it for me, im in the process of tryin to get a s/c or t/c'd one just for 7 or 8 weeks in the summer, prob swap the starlet and a bit of cash for one, just for a summer toy, then garage it again.

this is the one i was gunna get,

cheers lingl9z!

as mine is a toy and only comes out to play for meets and shows, I had considered selling up, selling the yaris and buying something sensible like a mazda 3, as it grates me sailing about in a runaround 99% of the year with a toy tucked away, but then I drive it that 1% and well, its awesome!

theres the whole paying for insurance and tax, and super, and oilchanges after being stowed away, I dont mean to sound old before my time, but it takes it out of you financially when you could be away on hols half the summer, hard to know what to be at lol

uenos is import spec, so insurnace is a bit higher normally, but they come with AC and a few other things i believe

Eunos will be the import model & most likely will be better spec, air con, power steering & power windows etc...

I sold mine & got the Glanza, you won't beat the handling on the Mazda that's for sure, they're unreal !

if maintained like any decent jdm engine it'll go on and on ! don't forget most eunos are in kph so obviously 100k is alot less in miles :)

yh true but the ones i was looking at were in miles as they were like 160 thousand odd km:)

ahh good man! I saw one of mx5nutz.com that had a thread called 'mission to the moon' and I'm sure he it had done 255k lol! but then again the guy was proper on top of servicing etc ! =)

Try Footman James if you're a Mazda owners club member? MX5OC or MX5 nutz etc... they were good when I used them to insure mine, maybe for you also on a classic car policy...around group 12 I think?????
