I'm planning on checking the timing on my 4efte and i was wondering if anyone knows what timing marks to follow? i dont have a service manual for the motor so i dont know what the oem marks are to set everything to stock. Would this be the same marks as on the 5efe motor? or does someone have a...

i dont know about the head gaskets, i would imagine maybe the 4e are a little stronger? could have different oil pathways, but seeing as the head is the same i've ordered 5efe headbolts as they apparently measure the same length.

i still would need to know if the headbolts are the same... 4efte engines aren't available here, i start a new job on monday and i can only get 5efe headbolts. So i need something quick.

damn, if i hadnt already bought a td04 mani i would LOVE to have that td05 manifold... unfortunately i have a TD04HL which has the same flanges as the td05 so i need to modify my mani :( sometimes timing just sucks lol
