what would be a safe amount of boost to run with the apexi safc 1 or 2 and still be able to do a base tune from my computer

i was gonna lower the compression a little by putting 4efte pistons on it and the first gen head gasket would that help or would it still be the same princapal since i cant adjust timing

when i came on this site i had never heard the term bar when it came to boost it was always pounds whats a like 1.5 bars or 2.0 bars
