the best advice i ever got was simply make sure the car is safe, ie good brake feel with half decent pads, half decent tires with decent tread (dont worry about fancy 888's) nothing leaking (oil, water etc) and a damn good service.

you can get both bolt in and weld in cages. usually you will find bolt in cages are used for general fast road track cars
as for making your own i suppose its how handy you are with that kind of work! personally i wouldnt attempt it but i dont suppose it will be to hard. just need to make...

basically my car was boosting to 10 psi so i wanted to adjust it 12 psi. simple job....i adjusted the actuator a few turns in the way(shortening the arm, its a hks actuator) and took it for a run. the first thing i noticed was that that the vacuum pressure was dropping to...
can i add to this that i used a sandwich plate on my car, at the time i was changing the timing belt so the power steerin pump was off. all i done was ground down the bracket that the sandwich plate was hitting.
i will find the link to the plate i used but as stated it does need the power...
i think its just your luck and how good the tune is. my mates bottom end went at 1.1 bar!!
you could just run it crazy on the rollers to get the big figures so you hold the crown for the most power on standard internals:haha::haha:
ek9's are great cars. they are fast but not as fast as people think. i have 2 mates who own them and both off them are exactly the same pace as my car, my car is running 162bhp. the thing is tho both the ek9's are on rails wen it comes to cornering, the starlet doesnt get close!
