In the process of fixing my stereo I found out that a previous owner has at some point fitted a Blitz Dual SBC but it's only wired in as a fuel cut defender. My question is this - is there any point in wiring it in properly as a boost controller if I've already got an HKS adjustable actuator...

Am I going to run into problems changing the battery in a car with a Cat 1 alarm? I assume the alarm system has some sort of short-term back up to cover it if the battery is disconnected?
