High revs place alot of stress on the rods, so yes, forged rods are required for a high revving build. As for needing them with an 8k limit, I'm not sure as most of the plug and play ecus, that are supposed to be for basic setups, raise the limit to 8k.

I've fitted a piece of rubber hose onto my axle and it done the trick. Youll have to raise them a fair bit to stop it hitting, it's a common problem on lowered starlets.

I had to wait a few weeks as he was pretty busy at the time but it came when I was told it would so I was more than happy. Everything was wrapped up well and fitted perfectly. As for aftersales, I never had any problems so I don't know.

I have the new td04 ext. Gated mani and down pipe and I just want to say that the quality is flawless and I've nothing but praise for sachas work. These kits are well worth the money.

Looking for a bit of advice from anyone with experiance installing these. The harness comes with twin core shielded cables for the triggers (one for the 24 tooth signal and 1 for the 1 tooth signal). I'm splicing the MS loom into the oe loom so if I have to then I can plug the stock ecu back in...
