    Dont understand the logic in this post, providing the oil pick up is submerged at all times the pump should maintain the same oil pressure regardless of level. pressure will only be reduced if the pump is airating, if this is the case then you need to do something about it.....

    sounds like you have problems with breathers/oil surge/pcv valve. no other logical reason for it to do whats described.

    sounds like a problem with a pcv valve(plastic valves on breather pipes) what brand and weight of oil you using? also are you running at correct running temp??

    were you still running the hi/low set up? did you have a vac/pressure pipe going from the actuator to the efi plastic intake pipe?(small one going to near where the re circ valve used to be) also do you have any blow off/re circ/dump valve fitted now?

    not saying anti freeze is the problem, but putting fresh stuff in is a good idea, especially if you dont know how old the coolant is.

    i'm pretty sure ep82's should use the red stuff, if someone can confirm? by the way, be sure not to mix red coolant with blue or green types

    yes, thermostat, common problem, easy fix, while its out its always worth flushing the system with a hose pipe, and replace your coolant. be sure to use red type antifreeze/coolant:)

    what cars this on? your teg? its common that the master cylinders can fail on them, altho you can hardly see any fluid leeking out some times, pull back the dust covers(rubber boots) on the slave cylinder and master cylinder and check for wetness, they should be totally dry, also check fluid...

    should only burn off such a small amount that you probably wouldn't notice from service to service, few hundred ml max(few mm on the stick) i've tried to help, but its been ignored so far! possible that its breather pcv valve related.

    when using jump leads put the negitive straight to the engine block of the car being jumped:) does the car have any alarm/immobiliser??
