12 & 52.

Some of these modified ECU's have been known to throw up code 12 for no apparent reason. I'd reset the ECU by pulling the EFi fuse or disconnecting the battery for at least 30 seconds and try again.

Still getting them both, cheif.

Kinda annoying, as it's running mint.

Any clues?

mines still throwing up the 52 (ragz mentioned it before) was my car

tried another knock sensor from another block yesterday and still the same :(

managed to get code 12 solved though, was the distributor ( the sensor in the dizzy), not the cap but the actual dizzy, i had a spare knackerd dizzy that had a faulty cap, so i transfered my cap onto that dizzy and its now solved it

if that made any sense :homer: :haha:

if its any help i had a jam ecu over a year ago which was throwing the same code but i was told and have read that its normal for that ecu to do that and the car will just run fine...and mine did :)

I had an issue on mine with code 52, then one day I see that some of the bolts which hold the cat support bracket were loose (not very loose) but it was enough to make code 52 come up, once i tightened them up it went away, so makesure everythings tight.

The cast piece of junk at the front of the engine? Bolts on just above the sump?

:)

Cheers, dude!

I also have a spare dizzy, so will see if this cures it :)
