o n what changes do ya rekon????i was thinking about a respray any advice?
no they are alri full lock both ways n only rubs wit a full car..

then i wouldnt worry..... but i wouldnt have people in the car if it rubs as you'll wear the tires and whatever its rubbing against...

the whole kit i would change, the spoiler, the mesh at the front, the wheels all the silly stickers..... the colour is fine... its just my opinion mate, you dont have to change it on my say....

Oh dear :(.

I've always wondered what 17's would look like on a GT, and it's as I thought. Rollerskate. Get some 15's or 16's, much better handling without the rollerskate look.

i bet they rub even with only you in the car. Unless the roads are dead flat where you are. My 15's rubbed over bumps if there was anything in the back. Also if you hit a bump when turning it looks like your gonna be bending wing. I say 15" only 16" if you need the clearance for brakes.

Got to say its down to personal preference I think they look good but will hinder performance on a track but if you don't drive fast a lot then can't see why people diss them

Go easy fella's. I think it looks pretty good. 17's are quite popular over here in oz and I can honestly say that I didnt notice much difference in handling when switching to smaller wheels. My car actually looked quite similar before i saw the light......what was I thinking with the whaletale wing though:confused:

Back up a small bit lads, no need to get into this arguement again.

Anyway, welcome to tggt.com mate. I see your Irish so its good to have another one because there isnt many on here in comparison to the UK.

Nice GT you have there but she needs some small work and she will look sweet. A mate of mine has 17" on his GT. looks ok but he has went through several rear shocks, gearbox is getting damaged from the big wheels and his acceleration is terrible.

My suggestions (and this is only advice so dont do it if you dont want to)
Loose the stickers,
15" white rota slipsteams
coilovers
Spray the mesh black or even remeve it.

they arent the worst 17's ive seen to be honest i expected much worse, and it kind of coincides well with the bodywork but i think they are too big for the car imo.

but the worst bit is the stickers definetly

I don't think it looks that bad to be honest, Although I would put 16s on it as IMO 15s with that kit might look a tad small. Also lose the stickers, mesh and change the font plate, other than that I like it!

Duff. :)
