Can A Thin Oil, 10-30 to be exact give me low oil pressure at when braking and idling?

And Secondly What are your views on porting and polishing as to polishing alone? good or bad?

Im assuming that in Guyana u get temperatures similar to us, ie constantly in the mid 30s in summer... yes that will affect your oil pressure, as if the oil thins down to much at certain temperatures then ull loose oil flow and oil pressure.. suggest u go for a fully synthethic 15w-50 oil.

As for just polishing a head its not really worth the hassle, might as well port it a bit once its off.. dont forget to leave the intake slightly rough ;)

Running leanish (ie low 12s AF up till a max of 12.4af) will also cause higher oil temps as more heat is created, since there is less fuel to cool the mixture..

in summer its not a good idea to run alot of boost either, as due to higher intake temperatures, the engine is more prone to detonation.
