I can get over 250-270 miles from a tank, which costs only £35 to fill. Keeping my turbo off boost is easy.

Dont see how a scooby can get this MPG, even if it did, a full tank is more. :S

if ya cant find a starlet that has the sleeper look ur after + the big power to go with it paul, u cud try buying a stock GT..theres sum good looking and very cheap ones about, then gettin in touch with an engine builder like darren burwash and he cud make ur car whatever power u need...that way u can get it built up exactly the way u want it

oh god, no idea mate lol..

tbh £10k+ before id consider selling it.. ive spent about 15k on the car.

i dont want to sell it tbh, tis the love of my life haha :D

and its not quite finished yet..

Well theory has it you would need to forge the engine for it to be reliable at that HP.

So:

Forged engine
Bigger injectors
Bigger turbo kit (manifold, downpipe etc)
ECU
Remap

looking at around 4k for a good setup engine wise all brand new.

Then you have the rest of it lol, its never ending :|

a good few grand mate unless ya can build it yourself..i wud 100% advise that you firstly upgrade all handling mods...ule need bigger brakes thats a must with that much power and an uprated clutch...and i would get coilovers too. then ya got things like ARB's etc there a lot of traders on here that are very very good and can supply all these bits and bobs.

engine wise for 280 odd bhp ule need a full rebuild of ur engine with forged pistons and rods, metal headgasket, engine mounts, engine management, etc, and sum1 to map it who knows what they doing. i cud well of forgot sum stuff lol

then for 280 id say a td04 turbo kit shud do the trick just lol but it wud be pushed to its limits i think. a td05 wud do it piss easy tho. theres millions of things u can do lol headwork, cams, nitrous lol skys the limit mate :drive:
