How possible is it to convert an ep85 to 4WD? Would a gtfour setup fit in with a 5e block and 4e head?

ep85 is 4wd?????

if you mean ep82, then its as hard as any other car would be as its not a 4wd chassis.

GT4 engine and gearbox has already been put in an EP85, so that works. The guy that did it kept the EP85 rear axle in it as he didnt want any chassis mods affecting the car passing MOT, but there is such a big difference in the EP85 rear diff and ST205 transfer box ratios he has 2 different sizes of wheels on to make up for it. There would be a great deal of work in getting the ST205 rear end fitted, it could possibly be done by replacing the rear floor pans, but since one is independant suspension and the other a live axle, it would need a bit of thinking out.

Ep85 is built to be a 4wd and the ep82 is not.
There are lots of ways you can do it, but wjatever way you choose will require a reasonable amount of custom work
