Hi guys, couldnt find my old thread. So i have a built 5e engine (forged internals). The engine has only done 2500km. Initially the engine smokes if idling too long (grayish, a little blue) but goes away after driving. So...
Got the valve stem seals changed
Checked the intercooler piping (connects to intake manifold) and it is all dry there
Car still smokes a little bit during long idle so I decided to change the PCV valve (initially took it off and never put it back on). I purchased a genuine toyota PCV and grommet and put it on. The car smokes alot now at idle!!
Compression is still equal in all four cylinders.
I just did a service and I'm using 20w-50 oil (very thick I know)
What do you guys think it is? Can it be that the thick oil is causing the problem??
Thanks
Nick
