5EFHE or 4AGZE swap into starlet better?

yea in street of Barbados going to and from is a killer.
but i just want it for weekend car. i going to sell my 5EFHE engine with turbo and everything and start on 4AGE black top swap with 4AGZE gearbox.
will keep every one up dated.

why are you going with a blacktop? slivertops have stronger internals if you want to turbo it, 4agze have even stronger internals and a nice static CR if you want to turbo.

if you are going to go n/a and keep the mods to bolt ons then yes, stick with blacktop. if n/a with internal mods, go silvertop or 16v.

and if you are going to keep it n/a, i wouldnt use a 4agze box, just use a std 4a box. the 4agze box is huge, and VERY heavy. only needed if you are pumping out a lot of power

Stick with the 5e, the 4agze is a great engine but like metnioned quite a lot of work if you are on a budget. Don't forget we will be running a third demo car, a Glanza with Silvertop turbo'd 4age but it may not be ready until 2009 as we have a lot of work on this year.

not going N/A after feeling boost. :)
i using black top and forging it with pistons and rods change cam, give head lil work and T4 ballbearing turbo with some 750cc injectors and use back my wolf 3D v400 plus with coil per plug setup. going to run 15 psi and c how it do first.
and most of work i b doing it my self.

I would use the silverhead instead, the valves are much stronger...
We tryed it once, that the valves got stuck(to muck heat, and very thin valve) on blacktop head...
Never had that problem with silverhead...
Then use the blacktop cams, then you are set for 400-500 hp

u mean spi i seen his setup online it doing real good and shell he using is 2 light
he getting real traction problem.
i was thinking doing 3SGTE swap or 4AGE blacktop. but 3SGTE for MR2 hard to find in bim so i opt for 4AGE blacktop.

i know of EP91 project. he cann't do it yet he body working first. he buy Glanza S hit to front so we have to wait to c his project. But u know posts 3SGTE powered EP82 right?
by the way gorganl2000 how is Glanza V working have any mod to car since u convert it manual?

no i cant say i know that 3sgte ep82......dont know the guy

no major mods.........cool and simple for the most part

have some plans in store......maybe time and money willing,.,,,but i got other project on my mind right now---maybe land/house
