dave think the 3e flywheel does fit the 5e block and it will allow the 4e clutch to be fitted to it, BUT it like super rare to get, was on some turbo one or something i think,

yeah you could drill the 5e flywheel to accept the 4e clutch but i wound'nt bother as for a couple hundered quid you get a nice lighten flywheel and just buy a act clutch which are fairly cheap too

the 3e flywheel you need is off the 3E-TE motor from the corolla turbo II

but just get a 5e flywheel and a decent clutch, drama solved.

i HAVE a 5e flywheel that uses the 4efte/212mm clutch assembly

so for sure it does exist

it came off a normal 3E with carburator

so did anyone tryed any of a above to confirm it? and whats the difference between two?
also any of the tercel heads should have an answer

i have a friend who also modified his 4efte flywheel to fit the 5e crank

i also know someone that modified the 5e crank to fit the 4efte flywheel

both of these were done by a professional machinist without issues and are still running for a LONG time
