Aberdeen Starlet Meet 3rd May Pictures

Any idea when the next Aberdeen meet will be??

I'm able to make any weekend other than 23rd - 26th May (competing in Jim Clark rally down in Kelso)

BTW - in the pic of Sullers engine bay (red Glanza with blue rockercover) is it just my dodgy eyesight or is his oil cap missing?????

14.0, i think it were a bit slower that day.

Good to see everyone the othr day, what a great night/morning!! Zep kit is incredibly impractical and wallet rapingly pricey (this was driven home to me when I crashed last yr - its taken me a year to get the cash together to re-build it!!). Despite this, it looks the dogs, and you only live once right? :). This meet was great, nice night and some excellent starlet chat with folk. I learnt alot.

Yep Cap is missing, If I remember right?: Unbeknown to Mark, Sullers swapped his cap with Mark's, when this pic was taken Mark had just realised tht it had been on all afternoon and stole it back!!!

Yea the wheels R pretty shite, fox replicas I think. I want some kind of light weights. hav to get a remap and an alarm fitted soon, spraying and get the seats sorted. Hopefully get the wheels sorted sometime but not a priority yet! :)

my car

hi guys, was good to see everyone at the meet. my car has the following engine mods : blitz nur spec exhaust, decat 2 1/2 inch, blitz accsess ecu, hks fuel cut defender, sard fpr, walbrow pump, hks plugs, magnacore leads, apexi bov, apexi avcr, hdi front mount, trd inlet pipe, with hks mini cone filter, standard turbo, standard ported mani, standard internals,heaps of shinny, painted bits. At 1.3 bar a boost :)185 bhp 190 torque :) thanks mark from cmb autos anybody got any problems or querys call any time hi ali joker thats not under my bonnet that is sullers

Ha now that would have been a video i would of been making copies of, haha.
well guys it was good to meet you all, and if you's can keep me posted on the next meet ill be well up for it. ill try not do any stupid manouvers next time. well boys and girls, once again good to meet you all.

I see, so it was th opp. way round: you swapped caps with Suller's and it took him all afternoon to notice!? :p

Mark isnt a registered trader but he is only offering the guys in aberdeen with some help. Hes helped alot of guys with starlets in aberdeen. And knows alot more about them than the forum nutters on here. Hes a built an amazing GT on a tight budget and alot of trial and error. Give the guy a break. He only posts about once a year. Dont be a party pooper.

I'm with Adam55 on this one - Mark has helped me out a great deal with information, advice, parts & carried out work on my Starlet. There isn't much places in or around Aberdeen that will deal with a starlet

Posting Up a Phone Number is the same as posting up an E-mail or Website address so as far as I'm conserned it's still advertising. if you do which to advertise you will have to pay the relevant fees. As for the tune, A Blitz ECU has a built in Fuel cut defender as well as ajustin the fueling and timing for a set boost parameter. if you are going to add a RRFPR then it could mess a bit with the fueling curve that is built into the ECU it's self as well as the timing adjustment. it's basically like putting a FCD and RRFPR on a standard ECU you would be better off flogging the ECU and buying a standard ECU and some form of piggyback ECU

hi guys i know my ecu is capable of all these things .i had all these parts before i got my ecu so i just left them because the fuelling , timing and boost curves are a1 . i love producing massive power out standard engine ,turbo .:D

Just thought i would put up a spec and back up mark and adam.
Mark is STARLET MAD like me and deserves a great deal of RESPECT in our area!
He Has had over 6 years of exsperience within them and truely has the most knowledge about them up here! Would Recommend CMB Autos to anyone. in the Photos 2 Thirds of the cars have been worked on by Mark and His Dad. Between us we Hav Built 3 amazing starlets. His "RINGSTING" sorry burgandy Gt. Plus My old VXR Blue 96 Glanza Which is still in Aberdeen.

Plus my new RARE 98 RED Glanza.

Engine.
tannabe full 2 1/2" exhaust
DE-Cat down pipe 2 1/2".
HDi Front Mount Intercooler.
Hks F-con Engine management.
Hks Actuator Set at 1.2 BAR
Fuel pressure Reg.
8.5mm MAgnecor Leads
NGK plugs
Induction Filter


Suspension.
TRD Shocks, Blitz TractionA Springs. Cusco Rear Strut Brace, Adjustable Panrod. TRD Antiroll bar, TOMS Braided Brake Hoses, Braided Clutch Hose.

Exterior.
Livesports front Splitter, Carbon Fibre Bonnet, Buddy Club P1 Sfp wrapped in toyo Proxes, Tinted windows, Trd Decals.

Car was dynod at 170 Bhp with 165 Torque.
Car ran at Banzai at Crail and ran a 14.7. Raced Rory in the semi Finals. But if going by Times It would Have been. Rory First Mark Second Then Me the Third. WAs Brilliant to see 4 Starlets in the Shoot Outs.
