abs problem

i failed my nct (mot) beacuse the abs light was on. i done the diagnosis test for the abs and it said i have a faulty speed sensor. i changed the sensor and reset the system by pumping the brake pedal 8 times. its now showing no codes but the abs light stays on.

can anyone help?

I've found you sometimes have to drive the car for a bit before it'll clear Johnny. Try that and report back mate.

check your abs rings as i believe this can throw the abs light up if it has a crack in it.

abs rings seem fine, ill take it for a spin and see whats what,

Good news lad! Jay is right tho, something that can be confusing, I had the same thing happen once I replaced the ABS rings. Everything was reset but the light came back on, took it for spin, and tried another reset then the light went off.
