Replied :)

If you got some longer coolant pipes or joined some other pipe onto them I am sure you could move the rad out the front away from the mani?

My car is out the front in pieces so I will try putting the rad out the front tomorrow and see if it fits.
The problem with that is dan (goldenvtr) tried it and it doesnt do the cooling system good as the top hose on the rad sits lower than the block so it makes the pump work harder.

Ahh right, I am sure with some intuative thinking it could be done though somehow!

glanzas have dual core rads so that will be an upgrade for you jones...
also vti and ek9 rads are a great upgrade, ive seen profiles of turboed vti's running in excess of 270bhp+ still using stock rad and no problems...

Right guys, im 99% sure im going the TD04 route, which TD04 spec i will annouce later on but i need some advice from TD04 owners, does the turbo need clocking to fit? or does it fit straight on? and is 2" IC piping big enough to run it at 1bar?

Cheers

I kinda agree with what your saying jones, im still unsure about fitting a dual core civic rad.

But, there really isnt much space in there even with a CT9! If you do get a td04 etc manifold to fit the stock rad, its gonna be mega close to the rad, and surely all that heat coming off the turbo isnt good for the rad anyway!! Altho admittedly the forced air flow from moving car is going from rad to turbo so probably ok when moving.
